From this page, you can edit signatures, report messages, and system responses to senders and recipients.
Messages are formatted either in plain text or HTML format, depending on the message. For HTML, the rich editor allows you to define formatting styles. Several variables are available for the reports, see the variables tab for more information.
The active language is set in quarantine settings under the General Settings tab. In your appliance, you may have more than one language used, depending on the domain.
Signatures
In this section you can enable/disable and customize signatures appended to Outgoing and Incoming emails in their plain text and HTML version.
Attachments
In this section you can customize the messages that ESG uses to replace attachments in case of:
- Bad Content
- Bad Filename
- Virus
Spam/MCP
In this section you can customize the messages sent to the recipient of:
- Spam (when the spam action is "Notify")
- Spam (when the spam action is "Bounce")
- Spam (when the spam action is "Attachment" and the spam email is attached by ESG to a generated safe message)
- MCP Blocked (when action is "Bounce")
- MCP Blocked (when action is "Notify")
Sender Notifications
In this section you can customize the messages sent to the sender of:
- Viruses
- Blocked Files
- Blocked Size Attachments
- Other Blocked Content
Intercept
In this section you can customize the message sent to the sender of message kept on hold due to a low relationship score.
Encryption
In this section you can customize message sent to recipient of an encrypted messages.
You can customize:
- Recipient Encrypted Message Notification: the message sent along with the encrypted message
- Sender Encrypted Message Notification: the message sent when a new encryption key is generated.
QuickSand
In this section you can customize all messages inserted in the attachment modified email.
Phishing
In this section you can customize the Inline Phishing Checks messages.
External Warning
In this section you can customize the External Warning message in its plain text and HTML version.
Import/Export
You can export actual language customization or import new language files.
