A new licensing system has been implemented from the version 5.2 of LibraCyber Email Security. The new licensing system has been documented in this knowledge base.

In this section is shown all the license information:

Billing
In this section is shown all the licenses that must be billed in the next billing cycle.
In the Billing Information section is shown are shown all the information needed about your license billing process. The License Accounting Model is the accounting model used by ESG to manage the licenses on the appliance. It's determined by the LibraCyber license sales agreements. The License Count is the sum of all licensed mailboxes or addresses on the appliances. It's the total of licenses the customer pays at the end of the billing cycle. The Next Billing Cycle is the period when the next invoice will be generated by the LibraCyber.
In the Billing Details section you can monitor all active licenses. The accounting process automatically occurs every night but you can force the license recalculation from the Recalculate yellow button in the billing details table toolbar. The licenses can be classified as:
- Mailbox: a user defined in User Management section of the appliance
- Recipient: an email address which is not associated to any mailbox
Usage Details
In this section is shown all active email addresses on the appliance.
You can make ESG completely forget an email address using Right to be forgotten functionality. ESG will delete the email address quarantine, all message history and all valid recipient entries associated to the email address. This is a irreversible operation and could takes long time to complete.
By clicking on the grey eye icon on an email address record in the Usage Details table you can consult the Email Properties section. In this section are displayed all the email address license usage information. If this email address is related to a ESG user, this user is shown in this section as accounted mailbox.
Excluded Addresses
In this section are shown the addresses that are protected by the ESG but not accounted for billing. This table can only be edited by the LibraCyber team in special circumstances according to the sales agreements. Please, contact the LibraCyber sales team if you believe to create any excluded address.
Trial Domains
LibraCyber ESG permit to start a trial for a new relay domain.
Trial domains are still protected by LibraCyber ESG, but not accounted for billing during the trial period.
A trial last 30 days and cannot be renewed. At the end of the trial the domain will be automatically accounted for billing.
You can start a trial for a domain by enable it in the relay creation here.
Upload License
In this section you can upload a new LibraCyber ESG license. The license file extension is .zl. This file is commonly sent to the license contact email address.
