This article addresses configuring Microsoft 365 with LibraCyber ESG as your inbound and/or outbound email security filter. LibraCyber ESG combines all benefits of a gateway approach plus native API integration.
There are two different supported deployment scenarios: LibraCyber ESG in front of your Microsoft 365 tenant, or LibraCyber ESG inline with your Microsoft 365 tenant.

This is the preferred scenario because you retain full control and central visibility on your email flow.

In both scenarios LibraCyber ESG inspects the email before it reaches the user’s inbox instead of after. If it is deemed good, it goes to the inbox, if not it doesn’t.
