The Users page lists all people enabled to receive Cyber Chat (Alex) lessons and allows administrators to choose which channel each person receives them through. To open it, select Cyber Awareness from the side menu and then Users.
The Awareness Users list: First Name, Last Name, Email and Departments for each user, with search and department filter at the top.
Search and filters
By default the list shows all users, with columns First Name, Last Name, Email and Departments. At the top there is a search field and a department filter. Administrators can search for a specific user (by first name, last name or email) or narrow the list to a single department; to reset the filter select Everyone.
Channel selection
The default channel is defined at company level during configuration (the messaging platform). If the company has set Slack, Google Chat or Microsoft Teams as the messaging platform, the administrator can move users to Webchat, the channel integrated in the LibraCyber app:
- A single user — activate the dedicated toggle on the user's row (column Send course within LibraCyber platform instead of [platform]). The change is saved immediately.
- All displayed users — click the Activate webchat for all displayed users button and confirm in the dialog window, which indicates how many users will be affected. The action applies only to users listed directly on the current page (maximum 50 per page) and does not modify users on other pages. The bulk action activates Webchat but does not deactivate it: to move a user back to the company channel, use the toggle on their row.
NOTE: users on Webchat are the only ones to receive notification emails for new lessons and reminders. On other channels (Teams, Slack or Google Chat) notifications occur within the chat.
If the company already uses Webchat as the platform, there is nothing to change and the controls described above are not shown.
Deactivation and user states
User deactivation is not available from this page: it is an operation managed by LibraCyber and is not present in the interface. A deactivated user:
- can no longer access the awareness module;
- disappears from the Awareness Dashboard.
The meaning of the different user states is described in the Cyber Chat (Alex): Overview article: this page does not redefine them. To change a user's activation state, contact LibraCyber Support.
