All lessons in Cyber Chat (Alex) are collected in the Lessons section. From here, an administrator can create, modify, assign, and reorder lessons, deciding who they are delivered to and in what order. Lesson content creation takes place in the Lesson editor, while completion is monitored in the Awareness Dashboard.
To access the page, open Cyber Awareness from the side menu and select Lessons.
The Lesson Catalog page
The Lessons page (Cyber Awareness > Lessons): the toolbar at the top (Search, Assign all lessons, Create lesson, Create lesson with AI), the Assignment filter and Type of Lesson filters, and the lesson cards grouped in the Onboarding Track, each with an origin label ("LibraCyber Lesson") and a recipient indicator (Everyone or a department).
At the top of the page you will find the toolbar — Search, Assign all lessons, Create lesson, and Create lesson with AI — and two filters: Assignment filter and Type of Lesson.
Lessons are grouped into three sections: Onboarding Track, Run Mode, and Catalog. Each lesson is represented by a card showing its title and description, an origin label (for example, "LibraCyber Lesson" for a lesson provided by LibraCyber) and a recipient indicator (for example, "Everyone" or a department code).
Search and filters
To quickly find a lesson, type in the Search field (the search operates on the lesson name) and narrow down the list with the two filters:
- Type of Lesson (origin): All Lessons, Provided by LibraCyber, Corporate Lessons (shown only when a corporate-level shared lesson exists), or {company} Lessons (lessons owned by your company).
- Assignment filter: no filter, Not assigned, Assigned, All departments, Everyone, or a specific department.
Creating and modifying lessons
- Create lesson — opens the Lesson editor with a blank template.
- Create lesson with AI — opens the AI-powered lesson creation wizard.
- Clicking on a card opens the lesson in edit mode.
Creating and modifying lesson content — as well as publishing, cloning, and sending immediately — is done in the Lesson editor (see the dedicated article "Cyber Chat (Alex) – Lesson editor").
Onboarding Track, Run Mode, and Catalog
Assigned lessons are placed in the Onboarding Track or in Run Mode (a lesson can belong to only one path). Each path has its own delivery frequency, set in Preferences. Lessons not yet assigned to any path remain in the Catalog at the bottom of the page.
- Onboarding Track — lessons enrolled in this path are always delivered to users before Run Mode lessons.
- Run Mode — lessons enrolled in this path are delivered after those in the Onboarding Track.
- Catalog — all lessons not yet assigned to any path.
Lesson origin
Each lesson has one of three origins, indicated by the label on the card:
- Provided by LibraCyber — the built-in library, assignable by any company and modifiable only by LibraCyber staff. It can be used as-is or cloned to customize it.
- Corporate — a lesson shared by a parent organization (this option appears only when a corporate-level shared lesson exists).
- Company-owned — created internally via Create lesson or by cloning a provided lesson.
Lesson ordering
The administrator can order the lesson list for users with simple drag and drop within the catalog. The order determines the sequence in which new lessons are delivered: lessons at the top of the list are sent first.
When you change this order, the next lesson is recalculated for all users, but lessons already in progress are not affected. Each time a user completes a lesson, the next one to be scheduled is the first uncompleted lesson in the Onboarding Track (or in Run Mode, if no lessons remain to be completed in the Onboarding Track). Once all lessons are completed, the user will not receive new lessons until new ones are assigned to them.
NOTE: lessons with a quiz not passed result (score below 75%) are resent to the user after they have completed all other lessons they are enrolled in.
WARNING: drag and drop is disabled when a filter or search is active. To reorder lessons, clear the Search field and reset the Assignment filter and Type of Lesson filters.
Example
Starting situation:
| Order | Path | Lesson | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Onboarding | A - Phishing | not started |
| 2 | Onboarding | B - CEO-fraud | not started |
| 3 | Run Mode | C - On the road | not started |
| … | Run Mode | … | … |
| 6 | Run Mode | D - Paste jacking | not started |
The user completes lesson 1 and starts lesson 2:
| Order | Path | Lesson | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Onboarding | A - Phishing | completed |
| 2 | Onboarding | B - CEO-fraud | in progress |
| 3 | Run Mode | C - On the road | not started |
| … | Run Mode | … | … |
| 6 | Run Mode | D - Paste jacking | not started |
The administrator changes the lesson order:
- "Paste jacking" is moved to the beginning of the Onboarding Track.
- "On the road" is moved to the end of Run Mode.
| Order | Path | Lesson | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Onboarding | D - Paste jacking | not started |
| 2 | Onboarding | B - CEO-fraud | in progress |
| 3 | Run Mode | A - Phishing | completed |
| … | Run Mode | … | … |
| 6 | Run Mode | C - On the road | not started |
The next lesson assigned to the user will be lesson 1 "Paste jacking"."
Lesson assignment
Administrators have full control over lesson management and assignment.
- Assign all lessons — enrolls all currently displayed lessons (based on applied filters) to the entire company in a single operation; confirm in the dialog window.
-
Edit lesson audience — click the edit icon (✏️) on the card to assign the lesson to a specific audience:
- Assign to all employees — assigns the lesson to all employees.
- Assign to selected departments — assigns the lesson to one or more selected departments.
- Remove audience — cancels the lesson assignment, removing all recipients.
WARNING: a lesson without a published version shows "Deploy changes to assign lesson" and cannot be assigned until it is published in the Lesson editor. A lesson already published but with unsaved changes shows "This lesson has unsaved changes".
The catalog for end users
End users also have access to this section in read-only mode, where they can independently start a new lesson by clicking Start course.
When Start course is clicked, the message is delivered through the configured messaging channel — Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Chat, or Webchat. No message appears directly on the platform.
Learning pace limit
An optional learning pace limit is available that prevents users from starting a lesson immediately after another, so as to respect the automatic pace defined by the administrator. When this option is active, the ability to manually start assigned lessons is not available.
NOTE: this option is disabled by default. To enable or disable it, contact the Support team.
