The LibraCyber Email Archiver allows you to create backup rules to be automatically executed according to a specified frequency. You can also launch immediately a backup by using the Schedule Backup button.

Configuration

When creating a backup rule, you will be prompted to configure:

• volume: the backup volume on which storing the backup file
• backup recursion: the frequency of the backup (daily, weekly or monthly)
• iterations: the previous number of backup files to keep
• type: choose among only configuration and extended

For example, the above rule configures a daily backup and set the Archiver to keep the backups of the last 10 days.

Backup type

The LibraCyber Email Archiver supports two different backup type:

• Only configuration: the backup includes all the configurations of the Archiver and its tenants
• Extended: the backup includes also information about emails and folder structure positions

Please note that no backup type includes the email index and the email archive.
