LibraCyber ESG allows dictionary-based content filtering rules.This feature provides a powerful content filtering capability to mitigate the risks associated with email. A policy rule compares words in a dictionary to those in an email and performs an action when there is a match. You can use this technology to analyze for profanity and other undesirable content entering your organization.
Dictionary
The first requisite to create a dictionary based rule is a Dictionary. In this table are listed all the dictionaries previously created. You can filter out the displayed records by performing a Search.
To create a new dictionary you have to click on the New button from the table toolbar. The below dialog appears, asking you the Dictionary Name and the Matching Threshold that is the number of word occurrences that cause the message action.
Word list
A Dictionary is composed by words, in this tab you can add words to the previously created dictionary(s). In the table are displayed existing words associated to a dictionary. You can filter out results by performing a Search. You can create a new word by clicking on the New button from the table toolbar or importing a CSV file (one word per line). To delete one or more words you can select them on the table and click on the Delete button. Warning: when any modification is performed on the table, you must click the Apply Settings in order to make changes effective.
Dictionary Rules
From this tab you can finally create rules. In the table are displayed all the existing rules. You can filter out displayed results by performing a Search. You can remove one or more rules from the table by selecting them and click on the Delete button from the table toolbar.
To create a rule click on the New button. The below dialog appears. The dialog fields to compile are:
- Rule Name: the rule name
- Dictionary: select one of the available dictionaries
- Sender Address: can be an email address, a domain, a network, "bounce" (bounce messages sender) or "default" (any).
- Recipient Address: can be an email address, a domain, an IP address or the keyword "default" to match all
- Quarantine Message: select this option to store the message in the quarantine if the rule triggers
- Encrypt Outbound Message: select this option to encrypt the message
- Forward Message To: enter an email address if you want to forward a copy of the message to someone else
- Add Extra Header: specify the extra header that will be added in case you still want to deliver the message to the intended recipient
