LibraCyber ESG Threat Remediation features fully support Zimbra v.8+ server through direct Zimbra’s API access. This guide will cover the steps needed to grant your LibraCyber Email Security Gateway permissions on your Zimbra. No changes are made to the Zimbra server itself by LibraCyber Email Security Gateway.
Configure Threat Remediation Connector
Now select System > Authentication > Threat Remediation Connector
- Click [+] New
- Select your domain from the dropdown Domain list
- Give a friendly description to the connector
- Select your Zimbra 8 as the Mail Server version
- Enter the username to access Zimbra API. This user must have an impersonation role, and usually, it’s the Zimbra admin user.
- Enter the user password
- Enter the Zimbra Mail Server Hostname or IP Address

Specify the preferred Delete Mode
- Soft Delete – Recalled messages will be moved to the spam folder
- Hard Delete – Recalled messages will be permanently delated
- Move to Recycle Bin – Recalled messages will be moved to the user recycle bin
- Click Save
- Test your Connector by clicking the > icon next to the entry.
