LibraCyber Email Archiver offers a set of predefined roles to be assigned to all users. The role of a user determines what the user can do on the Archiver. A role essentially consists of a list of capabilities. Example of capabilities are Can write Microsoft 365 configurations, Can delete owned emails, Can delete owned emails, Can view system volumes, Can read tenants, ...
Predefined roles
There are five predefined roles. In the following table you can find the description of which capabilities are assigned to each predefined role.
| Role | Assigned capabilities |
| Super admin | all the available capabilities |
| Super auditor | all the available capabilities, but read-only mode |
| Tenant admin | all the available capabilities in the context of a single tenant |
| Tenant auditor | all the available capabilities in the context of a single tenant, but read-only mode |
| User | handle own user, own archived emails and own saved searches |
New role configuration
The Archiver allows you to configure any number of roles you need. When configuring a new role you have to specify the name, an optional description and the list of roles who can assign this role.
Then you have to select the capabilities you want this role to have. By clicking on one of the blue buttons you can copy all the capabilities of a predefined role and then add or remove any capability you need.
