The LibraCyber Email Archiver supports antivirus integration.

Consulting emails

By enabling the antivirus scan it's possible to protect users from infected emails. If an antivirus engine detects an infected email, the Archiver prevents the user from downloading the attachment and forwarding or downloading the email.  

Optional capabilities

The users can optionally be allowed to perform the forward and download operations even if an antivirus detects some infections. By default, users cannot interact with infected emails. In order to allow users to perform these operation you can create a custom role enabling the following capabilities.

Export

The antivirus scan is available also when exporting emails from the Archiver.

With the option "Perform Antivirus scan on exported emails" you enable the Antivirus scan for the emails to export. By enabling the option "Discard infected emails", all the infected emails will be discarded and will not be present in the exported archives. If you do not enable this option, the Archiver will export the infected emails in a distinct archive, so that you can easily identify and manage the infected emails.

Configuration

You can choose tenant-based if you want to enable antivirus protection.

License

The Antivirus protection requires the security bundle to be included in your Archiver license.
