Version and Updates

In this tab you can see the information about the version of the Backend, Frontend and the Outlook Add-in modules. A link to the release notes of all LibraCyber Email Archiver is available, along with the update status of the indexing engine.

Release tier

The LibraCyber Email Archiver offers two release tiers.

Early Adopter release

All new features are published first on this release tier. If you want to be to first to see new features and to receive the most fresh updates you can set the Archiver on this tier.

Stable release

New features are published on this release tier after they pass all quality tests and after they have been published on the early adopter release tier first.

Automatically install updates

LibraCyber Email Archiver publishes a new major release every few months. The major release update is always manually. Anyway, during the lifecycle of each release we publish minor updates, including bug-fixes, small improvements and critical security updates. We strongly suggest to leave the Automatically install updates option enabled to always install automatically (nightly) these minor updates.

When a new major release is available, the Archiver shows the list of the main feature. You can find the complete changelog at the release notes page. The changelog includes feature, bug-fixes, improvements and deprecation notices.

You have two options for updating to the new major release: you can update immediately or you can postpone the update to the next night. For the Archivers in the LibraCyber Cloud you have to ask to the support team to get your Archiver updated.
