LibraCyber Email Archiver allows to save searches for future use by giving it a name and either user or global context.
Saved searches context
Searches are saved with a context:
- user context: the search will retrieve only emails of the user
- global context: the search will be able to retrieve emails belonging to all the users of a tenant
How to save a search
You can save a search by giving it a name and the context. Please note that you have to execute the search at least once before saving it.
What a saved search can be use for
You can use saved searches to:
- execute the same search multiple times without needing to rebuild the entire search every time
- share searches with others Email Archiver users
- define Legal hold rules
- define Retention rules
- run Export job
- configure E-Discovery rules
NOTE: when creating a Legal Hold rule, the corresponding saved search is blocked and you will not be able to do any further edit to it.
Managing saved searches
Once you have created a saved search you can:
- share it with other users
- execute it to find the emails matching the search
- edit it (if it's not used from any legal hold rule)
- delete it (if it's not used)
Share a saved search
You can share a saved search with other users. You can share it to single users or to all the users.
Clone a saved search
Saved searches can be cloned in order to create a copy which can be further modified.
