The search interface is slightly different based on the user role.
End users
This is how the search interface looks like to the end users.
Left panel
In the left panel, the user can decide the context of the search. In this case, the user is logged through the account marco.beretta@libraesva.com. This user has 4 delegations, represented by the 4 rows at the bottom of the panel. With this situation, the user can perform searches:
- across all 5 mailboxes, using the All mailboxes option on the top of the panel
- in his own personal mailbox by selecting it
- in one of 4 mailboxes for which he has an active delegation
Moreover, when selecting a specific mailbox, the folder structure is automatically provided. The user can select a specific folder to search email inside that folder.
Central panel
In the central panel, the result of the search is provider. The emails list can be ordered by date, subject or size. The sort order can be changed according to the Sort by option.
The user can select one or more emails in order to download, forward or restore them.
Right panel
When opening an email, the Archiver shows it in the right panel.
Message actions
Some actions could be performed on an email:
- show/hide the images in the emails
- display the original message, with all the email headers
- download the message in EML, MSG or PDF format (optional antivirus scan is available with the Security Bundle)
- forward the message to any email address
Message information
Some information are available for each message.
Antivirus scan
If the Security bundle is included in your license, an antivirus scan is performed each time the user open an email. The antivirus protection scans the whole email and each email attachment. If an infection is found, the user cannot interact (download, click on links, ...) with the email.
Timestamp validation details
For each archived email, certified timestamp details are provided, including the email timestamp, the details about the certification authority and email hash.
Message details
In the last panel, more details are provided. Here the user can retrieve the archived email protocol number, the message id and the archiving date.
Administrator user
The interface for administrators is slightly different.
Left Panel
The left panel for administrator users provides the possibility to:
- choose the tenant to work with (in case of multi-tenant appliances) through the selector on the top
- perform searches across all tenant mailboxes
- perform searches in the own mailbox
- impersonate another user and perform searches in his mailbox
Message details
Some additional email details are provided to the administrator users:
- the list of the users able to retrieve this email from the Archiver
- the Archiver source (can be connector, listener or PST)
- the email expiration date
- the zip in which the email has been stored
