From the version 5.0 of LibraCyber Email Security a new feature has been deployed: now you can decide to rewrite the sender or recipient address.
The address rewriting rules are based on a Pattern/Address pair. The Pattern is the address or domain you want to rewrite. The Address is the address that will be written replacing the original.
Below are two rewriting examples:
Note: the licensing billing will be counted on the rewritten address.
Sender Address Rewriting
From this section you can configure the sender email address rewriting.
To create a new rewriting rule you need to press the New button and define a pattern to rewrite and the address the will be written. You can filter out the displayed rewriting rules by performing a Search or save the rewriting rules for further uses using the Export function. You can also decide to rewrite the header From for the email coming from trusted sources.
Note: when a new rule is created or deleted, please remember to press the Apply Settings button in order to make the changes effective.
Recipient Address Rewriting
From this section you can configure the recipient email address rewriting.
To create a new rewriting rule you need to press the New button and define a pattern to rewrite and the address the will be written. You can filter out the displayed rewriting rules by performing a Search or save the rewriting rules for further uses using the Export function. You can also decide to rewrite the header To in the email body.
Note: when a new rule is created or deleted, please remember to press the Apply Settings button in order to make the changes effective.
