LibraCyber Email Archiver supports Microsoft 365 configuration by natively connecting to Office365 using Microsoft Graph APIs. In order to establish this connection you have to create an application on portal.azure.com. Visit Configure Office 365 Authentication for more information. For each configuration you have some available operations (in order from the green button):
- see the users caching status details (more information at Directory service users cache)
- list all the users
- configure mailbox delegation (Microsoft 365 Mailbox delegation)
- show Microsoft 365 login URL to test Archiver access via Microsoft 365 authentication (Configure Office 365 Authentication)
- show Microsoft 365 connection parameters (Configure Office 365 Authentication)
Configuration
When adding a Microsoft 365 configuration you have to provide:
- name: a descriptive label
- tenant: the Microsoft 365 tenant
- application ID: the ID of the application you created on portal.azure.com
- application key: the key of the application you created on portal.azure.com
- filter: optional, additional filter used when fetching users; check field syntax at Microsoft Graph API syntax
- group: optional, the ID of a Microsoft 365 group
- default role: the default role to assign to each user; you can choose any of the roles configured on the Archiver
- use for authentication: check this option if you want the users to authenticate on the Archiver by using Microsoft authentication
Directory service historical users
The LibraCyber Email Archiver automatically records the details of the users coming from all directory service. This allows to keep track of the details of all the users ever archived on the Archiver (starting from the release 22.8 update day) and to setup Microsoft 365 delegation with historical and dismissed users, too.
