What is the Lessons page
The Lessons page (My Courses) is your personal space: as an employee, you find the video courses assigned to you, watch them directly in your browser, track your progress and score, and earn stars when you complete each course.
What you can do
- See at a glance which courses you still need to start, which are in progress, and which you've completed.
- Watch or resume a course from your browser without installing anything.
- Improve your score: retake the quiz in a Cyber Awareness module you've already completed to earn more stars.
- Filter a large library by content type (Cyber Awareness or Cyber Series) or search for a lesson by name.
Before you start
- Video training is active for your company.
- You have user/learner permissions: the Lessons option appears in the menu.
- You've been assigned at least one course and its release date has already passed (before that it appears as Coming soon).
- An up-to-date browser: the player opens in a new tab, so allow pop-ups for the application.
How to use it, step by step
Entry point: Video Training › Lessons in the left menu.
- Open Lessons. The header greets you by name and lets you choose the Language for your content; the Attempted lessons chart summarizes your scores.
- Read the four summary cards — In progress, To do, Completed, and Stars Earned — for an immediate status overview.
- To resume where you left off, use the Continue Learning carousel and press Continue (or Start) on a card.
- To browse everything, scroll down to Your Library: filter using the All, Video Training (Cyber Awareness content), and Cyber Series tabs, or search in the Search a lesson field.
- Click a lesson thumbnail (or the Start / Continue button) to open the player in a new tab. If your browser blocks the pop-up, allow it and try again.
- Watch the course to the end. For a Cyber Awareness module, you must also pass the quiz: this is required for the module to be marked as completed. Then close the player tab.
- Back on Lessons, the card updates: Completed badge (or Failed if the quiz wasn't passed), full progress bar, and your stars. The summary cards and attempt chart also update.
- To improve your stars on a lesson you've already completed, reopen it (the Replay icon appears) and retake the quiz for a better score.
Page settings and controls
- Language (in the header): sets the language for your content; your choice is saved in your profile.
- All / Video Training / Cyber Series tabs: filter Your Library by content type.
- Search a lesson: filter the library by title.
- Start / Continue / Replay buttons and carousel arrows: open the player or scroll through the list.
What you see also depends on your administrator's choices: which lessons appear and in what order, and when a lesson becomes available (the Coming soon status unlocks on the release date; the Locked status requires you to complete a previous lesson first).
How it works
- Completion. A Cyber Series episode is complete when you watch it to the end. A Cyber Awareness module is complete when you finish it and pass the quiz; if you finish without passing it, you see the Failed badge instead of Completed.
- Stars. A completed Cyber Awareness module awards up to two stars (one for a passing score, two for a perfect score); a Cyber Series episode awards one star. Stars appear on the card, feed the Stars Earned box, and can be improved by retaking the lesson.
- Availability statuses. Coming soon: the release date hasn't passed yet. Locked: you must first complete a previous lesson in the path.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my courses?
In Video Training › Lessons, in the left menu.
How do I earn stars?
By completing a lesson: a Cyber Awareness module gives up to two stars (the maximum with a perfect quiz), a Cyber Series episode gives one. Retake the quiz in a module to improve your score.
I finished a module but it shows "Failed": why?
A Cyber Awareness module is marked as completed only after you pass the quiz. If you finish without passing it, it shows "Failed": reopen it and retake the quiz.
A lesson says "Coming soon" or "Locked": what does that mean?
"Coming soon" means it hasn't been released yet; "Locked" means you must first complete a previous lesson.
The lesson won't open when I click it.
The player opens in a new tab: allow pop-ups for the application and try again.
Can I change the language of the lessons?
Yes, using the Language selector in the page header.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| I click a lesson but no player opens | Your browser blocked the new tab pop-up | Allow pop-ups for the application, then click the lesson again |
| A completed module shows Failed instead of Completed | The quiz was not passed | Reopen the lesson (Replay) and retake the quiz, passing it this time |
| A lesson I expected is missing, or shows Coming soon / Locked | It hasn't been released yet, or a previous lesson must be completed first | Wait for the release date or complete the previous lesson; if in doubt, ask your administrator |
| Stars or progress not updating after I finish | The result is still syncing from the player | Close the player tab and reopen Lessons to refresh the page; wait a moment |
| Lessons are in the wrong language | The content language preference is set to a different language | Change it using the Language selector in the header |
