Setup Journaling
Journaling records all messages that are sent to and received by all mailboxes on the specified mailbox database. The steps required are:
Step 1 - Setting up an SMTP Connector
- Click the menù Configuration -> Router/SMTP -> Advanced
- Set Journaling to Enabled
- Set Method section to Send to mail-in database
- Enter the Mail Destination to archiver@ARCHIVER_FQDN
- Set Journal Recipients to Enable
Step 2 - Configuring a foreign SMTP domain
- Click the menù Configuration -> Messaging -> Domains
- Click Add Domain
- Click tab Domain type and select Foreign SMTP Domain
- Switch to the Routing tab.
- Internet Domain: specify the external domain name of the machine where Archiver is running.
- Domain name: specify the same domain name that you specified when you configured the connection.
- Save & Close.
LibraCyber Archiver Configuration
On the LibraCyber Archiver you need to setup a SMTP Listener that will accept the journal traffic sent from your Lotus Domino Server.
- Select menù Archiver->Mail Sources->SMTP Journaling and click on the green [+] to add a new listener:
Select IP Authentication and enter your Lotus Domino IP Address. Select SMTP Forward under Type Dropdown and make it Active.
- Check that emails are forwarded into your LibraCyber Archiver.
