LibraCyber Archiver provides an easy integration to all Microsoft Outlook users. Both Windows and Mac versions are supported.
WARNING: Due to a Microsoft behavior, plugin remain active till 5 minutes, then auto closes.
You can evaluate the alternative method installing the PWA (Progressive Web App).
WARNING: You need a valid TLS certificate on the archiver for the Outlook Plugin to work. Refer to the Certificates page of the manual.
Multi user deployment
If you need to deploy the Add-In automatically to many users you can manage to get this done centrally by connecting to Exchange Management Console as Administrator.
- Connect to your Exchange Management Console (https://exchange/ecp)
- Select Organization and then add-ins
- Click on + (new) - Add from URL
- Enter the following URL: https://your_archiver_address/api/outlook_addin.xml
- Click on Install
- Edit LibraCyber Archiver Outlook-Add-In and enable it
- Click Save
NOTE: If you get the error: "The app couldn't be downloaded" open the XML link with a browser on your PC and save it as a file. Then when adding the Add-In select Add from file instead of Add from URL as described above.
Single user deployment
For a single user installation:
Manual installation
- Connect to OWA (https://<exchange hostname>/owa)
- Enter the user exchange credentials
- Click on the Settings icon (the cogs icon in the top-right of the page)
- Select General > Manage add-ins
- Click on + (new) - Add from URL
- Enter the following URL: https://your_archiver_address/api/outlook_addin.xml
- Click Next then click Install
NOTE: If you get the error: "The app couldn't be downloaded" open the XML link with a browser on your PC and save it as a file. Then when adding the Add-In select Add from file instead of Add from URL as described above.
Client Installation
- From your Outlook click on Get Add-ins
- Use the menu My add-ins and click on Add a custom add-in
- Select Add from URL and enter the following URL: https://your_archiver_address/api/outlook_addin.xml
