Creating an Apps Script project lets you write, manage, and run JavaScript code that automates and extends the features of Google apps.
Step-by-step guide:
- Unzip the file provided by LibraCyber: you can request it from your designated CSM or by opening a support ticket through the portal. Inside, you'll find 3 files: onGmailMessageOpen.gs, onDefaultHomePageOpen.gs, and appscript.json
- Go to Apps Script
Click "New Project" in the top left corner:
- After clicking "New Project", the following page will open:
5. Delete the Code.gs file:
6. Click the "+" to add a new file, rename it to onDefaultHomePageOpen, and paste in the contents of the file you extracted from the zip:
7. Click the "+" to add another new file, rename it to onGmailMessageOpen, and paste in the contents of the file you extracted from the zip:
The first two lines contain the addresses to set up for forwarding simulation emails to Cyber Guru and real phishing emails.
Note: The names of the two variables “addressCGphishing” and “addressRealPhishing” MUST NOT be changed to avoid possible script malfunctions. In the variable "addressRealPhishing", where it says "mailbox.dedicata@azienda.org", enter the email address where you want real phishing emails to be sent, such as a SOC/CERT email address.
8. Open settings by clicking the gear icon on the left and enable "Show "appsscript.json" manifest file in editor":
9. In the editor, the appscript.json file will appear. Paste in the contents of appscript.json from the zip file:
10. Click "Save project"
