Dear Customer,
We are pleased to inform you that we are proceeding with a technological improvement of our email sending service, transitioning from the MailUp provider to SendGrid.
Following this migration, Cyber Guru S.p.A., as Data Processor pursuant to art. 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), has appointed Twilio Inc., SendGrid's parent company, as Sub-processor.
Twilio Inc. adheres to the EU–USA Data Privacy Framework, recognized by the European Commission with an adequacy decision of July 10, 2023 pursuant to art. 45 of the GDPR, and meets the reliability and guarantee requirements set out in Chapter V of the GDPR for personal data transfers to third countries.
This update concerns exclusively system emails and student caring emails.
The method of sending phishing emails will remain unchanged and will not be modified.
Why this change
The migration to SendGrid has been planned to ensure:
- Greater reliability and delivery speed, so as to reduce any delays or service disruptions.
- Platform scalability, which in the future may include a dedicated customer dashboard with statistics and details on emails sent from your company.
What you need to do
To ensure service continuity, it is necessary to update your network configurations by Monday, November 10. We therefore ask you to:
-
Whitelist the following SendGrid IP addresses (new provider):
- 159.183.237.241
- 159.183.238.150
- Keep the current MailUp whitelist active as well, as the transition will be gradual and without interruptions.
When the process is complete, we will send a new communication to confirm that it will no longer be necessary to maintain the current whitelist used for MailUp.
